What’s with the paperclip symbol?

Some of you may have noticed that there is an image of a paperclip on each line of the Print/Sell window in COSTAR (see the image above).

If you can’t see the image as above then you probably do not have SMTP eMail turned on for COSTAR eMailing (contact our Support Desk if you want to find out more about this).

The paperclip is activated (not greyed-out) when the email option is ticked and allows you to add any combination of Inspection Forms, Photos and the Invoice to the email. This is absolutely amazing if used in junction with COSTAR Mobile which allows you to capture the photos on a remote device in your workshop (for example additional work that needs to be done) and save them directly against the Repair Order, so you can email the images to your client for additional works approval.

When selected, the email format includes a single PDF document.

The selected invoice, photos and inspection forms will be included.
