2020 made for a difficult and unexpected year. While exciting features and updates are already in the pipeline for 2021, we still feel it is important to reflect and review upon the journey so far.

Our team is continuing to grow in numbers, skill and development, and we are lucky to have held a staff retention rate of 100% over the past two years.

We aimed to maintain the same level of service our clients expect from Microhouse as well as to ensure we keep our people safe during the impact of COVID-19. This allowed us to review and adjust the operations of all aspects of our business, from our attitudes towards a flexible workplace and working from home, to delivery of our training and implementation procedures.
Increase communication with clients
To build upon our already established relationships with our clients we took the initiative to communicate on a more regular basis through fortnightly newsletters, blog posts, help files, YouTube tutorials and social media. In doing so, we gained feedback on our products and services to constantly improve the way we do business. We want to ensure our clients are getting the most out of COSTAR and take advantage of all it has to offer.

Time-saving software enhancements

- Rego Checker – new Registration search in the Stock Check Fitment Guide and when adding a New Vehicle to an Order Entry documents.
- Inspection Forms – ability to edit the standard reason codes.
- Customer Pricing Matrix – entries for Cash customers.
- Customer Aged List report – simplified version which includes only the customer names and balances.
- Central Accounting – import a Supplier’s statement into the functionality and added ability to generate payment bank import files (.aba).
